WOODBINE WEB BASED QUESTIONNAIRE:
The Woodbine Design Team led by Simonson and Associates has been engaged by The Iowa Department of Economic Development to assist Woodbine in implementing a Sustainable Community Development Project within the framework of a Community Vision.
Woodbine has been involved in several visioning programs in recent years:
- The 2008 Iowa Living Roadways , IDOT and ISU Extension
- The 2007-2008 Horizons Community Plan, ISU and NWAF
- Project Mainstreet through IDED
These programs analyzed Woodbine in terms of its economic, social, developmental, and aesthetic concerns. The Woodbine Design Team is to analyze these studies and facilitate community consensus for the prioritization of projects and goals to unify a single comprehensive vision. The survey intendeds to gather input on community priorities, resulting in the selection of an initial project for budgeting and a funding search.
