Green Pilot Community Project Overview
In 2008, the town of Woodbine was selected as one of two new Green Pilot Communities by the Iowa Department of Economic Development. Woodbine through sustainable practices, will be a model for other communities to become more environmentally friendly. Simonson and Associates and their design team consultants, Architectural Strategies, The Weidt Group, Silent Rivers, and Barker Lamar, will provide technical assistance to complete new, environmentally responsible and innovative design projects. The first step is a Prioritization Survey to focus the community vision. The Woodbine Design Team needs you to get involved.
