Des Moines, Iowa - An adaptive re-use project turning an abandoned car dealership into a LEED certified building for office spaces within the service bays for Simonson & Associates architects and Gilmour Doyle Engineering firm to call home. The project covers nearly 28,000 SF of design offices with shared restrooms & workout space, along with the opportunity to house a restaurant within the glass-box showroom. Within the cutting edge design new curtain wall entry & storefront systems were installed, additional mezzanine spaces were incorporated, and a range of additional materials are being showcased allowing to represent the welding of creative & inspirational thought processes.
